How We Solved It

Sumerge’s Knowledge Management Portal has enabled STC to reach its employees and offer them a complete solution of communication and collaboration. It became very easy for STC to share knowledge such as policies, Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) and internal documents, to communicate social events and news such as the company trips, employees’ birthdays, prayer timings and picture of the day, as well as receive feedback from employees via surveys, polls and comments & rating section.

Sumerge worked on a broad business analysis & requirements gathering task to investigate and study the exact needs and requests of STC along with working on a complete solution development.

The delivered Knowledge Management Portal adopted IBM Web Content Manager (WCM) and IBM Connections technologies. It helps gather all the employees in one collaborative platform enabling them better cooperate with each other, improving work efficiency, improving employee engagement and communication, increasing employee productivity, encouraging flexible working environment and helping the management to better manage all company knowledge to make it easier for all employees to find all the needed information. The intranet also helps reinforcing the company’s brand and values and can make employee onboarding a simple task.
