Data Warehousing for Smart Telecom, Uganda

In a collaboration with IBM, Sumerge will be implementing to Smart Telecom Uganda a Data Warehousing solution. The solution will make it easy for Smart Telecom employees to access reports and prepare analytics from different systems with just a click of a button. The Data Warehousing solution will be executed using IBM InfoSphere Data server technology as well as IBM Telecommunications Data Warehouse (TDW) model designed for cable, internet, telecom and related service providers. It combines industry expertise, regulatory best practices and predefined content to support business and IT requirements.

Smart Telecommunications are the new mobile network for the new Africa; offering mobile, internet services, phones, SIM cards, mobile money, credit transfer, call me back, SMS info services, credit request, as well as fiber solutions in Burundi, Tanzania and Uganda.
