Sumerge signed a contract with the Ministry of Environment and Water (MOEW) in the United Arab Emirates to implement our self-service portal solution. The portal will open an online channel for public users to submit requests and certificates needed for different kinds of businesses that need to receive the ministry approval before being founded, without the need to visit the ministry. The portal will include all services offered by the MOEW. Sumerge will execute the portal utilizing .Net technology.

The Ministry of Environment and Water (MOEW) was established in February 2006, replacing the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, taking charge and responsibility of all its powers and functions. According to the organizational structure adopted by the ministry, five main sectors are included: Environmental Affairs Sector, Agricultural & Animal Affairs Sector, Water Resources & Nature Conservation Sector, Support Services Sector and Regions Sector.
