Sumerge Developing an Intranet Portal for USAID
Sumerge signed a contract with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) to develop their intranet portal on the latest IBM Websphere Portal and IBM Web Content Manager (WCM) technologies. The intranet portal solution will help employees communicate, collaborate, share knowledge and stay up to date with the latest news and events within the organization.
The USAID leads international development and humanitarian efforts to save lives, reduce poverty, strengthen democratic governance and help people progress beyond assistance. Since 1978, the USAID has provided to Egypt nearly $30 billion for programs in education, health, economic development, and governance.
