Sumerge x IBM Roundtable Event in Saudi Arabia

In line with Saudi Vision 2030 and the Kingdom’s focus on digitization, Sumerge organized a roundtable event for the public sector in Saudi Arabia. On November 14, Sumerge joined forces with IBM to explore the technologies shaping the future of digital transformation.
The day began with opening remarks from Sumerge’s CEO, Shady Ibrahim, followed by a discussion on Government DX led by Sumerge’s CSO, Hassan El Sinbawy. As Hassan noted, “Countries now are like business corporations in seeking Better Customer Experience, Business Efficiency, & Investments.”
Building on this perspective of modern governments, the conversation shifted to Integration and API Management with IBM’s MEA Integration Leader, Mohammed Alreedi. Continuing the integration discussion, Sumerge’s Technical Sales Architect, Abdelrahman Ali, presented insights on the next level of integration.
Recognizing that integration goes hand in hand with automation, IBM’s Technical Brand Specialist, Ahmed Aziz Sleem, led a session on AI-powered business automation.
In the second half of the event, the focus turned to Sumerge’s Data & AI stack. Sumerge’s CTO, Mohamed Nour, led a discussion on Customer 360 and data pipelines, followed by a session on DevOps, modern testing, and built-in quality.
The event also highlighted a successful public sector engagement with the Public Pension Agency of Saudi Arabia (PPA). The case study was presented by Sumerge’s KSA Sales Manager, Ahmed Emad, showcasing tangible outcomes and transformation impact.
This roundtable marked a strong start to a series of upcoming initiatives supporting digital transformation efforts aligned with Saudi Vision 2030.
