Sumerge has just started working on a new drug registration solution to be delivered to the Ministry of Health and Population in Egypt. The solution is designed to manage the end-to-end drug and pharmaceutical products registration processes throughout Egypt, integrating with multiple backend systems in several ministry offices, labs and agencies. The solution utilizes the latest IBM Business Process Manager (BPM) and IBM Enterprise Content Manager (ECM) platforms.

The Ministry of Health and Population (MOHP) established in 1936, is headquartered in Cairo. The MOHP vision is to maintain the health of citizens through health, preventive and curative services at the local level, improving the health of individuals and the environment, disease prevention and early detection, and development & upgrading of treatment and rehabilitation services. They’re aiming to raise the level of health services and facilitate access to them for all citizens.
