The Egyptian Software Testing Board (ESTB) was founded on December 17, 2008 by a group of software engineering and testing practitioners, consultants, academics, and trainers.

‍ESTB members are native Egyptians, working in leading Egyptian ICT organizations, involved and aware of testing and software process technologies, standards, and best practices.

The Egyptian Software Testing Board (ESTB) was awarded admission as Member Board to ISTQB® on March 26, 2009.
